Born in Puerto Rico, Dr. Cruz moved to the United States, where he pursued and obtained his degree in veterinary medicine. For 25 years, he practiced vet medicine in New Jersey, working in both private and mobile practice settings. After his time in New Jersey, Dr. Cruz relocated to California, where he spent the last 13 years as a mobile veterinarian, providing medical care and senior wellness services to animals in need. He’s already feeling at home, living in Franklin with his wife, three doodles, Jerzey, Maddie, and Maisel, and Scottish terrier, Gracie.
Dr. Cruz joined us in 2023 and is eager to bring his knowledge and experience to the Animalia team! Outside of work, Dr. Cruz enjoys cycling, capturing moments through photography, and expressing his creativity by creating amazing pieces of art, particularly in the form of oil abstract paintings. We are thrilled to welcome him home and can’t wait for you to meet him!
