Michele joined the Animalia team in 2022, but fell in love with veterinary medicine years ago while starting out as a veterinary assistant. She spent nine years in the pet food production industry and canine research and development until her heart led her back to the medical field. She knew Animalia was a special place from the moment she arrived, and we’re so excited to welcome her to the team. Outside of work, Michele can be found kayaking, hiking, and working on training and behavior with her many pups!
Michelle happily joined Animalia after being introduced as a client and industry friend in 2015. She quickly fell in love with Animalia’s mission, heart for rescue and passionate team of caregivers and medical professionals. Her background is in editorial photography, equipped with 16 years of small business management experience and a degree in Specialized Technology from Antonelli Institute of Photography & Graphic Design in Philadelphia, where she was awarded Best Portfolio of her graduating class. Michelle’s love of wildlife photography and communications began while operating the photography and digital media department for Eastern National and the National Park Service following graduation.
Michelle manages our communications, marketing, public relations and community partnership efforts. Outside of work, she can be found with a camera in hand, multiplayer video gaming, kayaking with her fishing gear, collecting anything from the 90’s, and fawning over her scruffy pups, Gracie and Clarabelle!

Meredith joined the Animalia team in 2020. She was inspired by Animalia’s mission and standard of care, as working with animals is her passion. Meredith has been surrounded by animals her whole life and has a fond love for animal rescue, feline behavior, and animal enrichment. She is Fear Free Certified and Recover CPR Certified. Outside of work, Meredith enjoys painting, reading and spending time with her five rescue animals – a senior dog named Trixie and four cats, Mulan, Kiki, Kawasaki, and Bubbles.
